FibriJet Biomaterials Applicators
Micromedics' FibriJet system is designed to facilitate the delivery of two-component biomaterials, such as fibrin sealant or platelet gel, to a localised treatment site, using an easy one-handed operation.
The system consists of an applicator assembly, which includes two syringes, a syringe holder and plunger link, available in different sizes and ratios according to the amount of material to be delivered (1:1 ratio - 3cc, 5cc and 10cc, and 11:1 ratio) and procedure-specific applicator tips, designed to deliver a precise amount of material to the site. These include both internal and external mixing configurations, single and dual spray, malleable, flexible, rigid and endoscopic tips.
A gas-assisted system is also available.
Typical applications for the system include the administration of biomaterials in Neuro, ENT, Plastic, Burns, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Cardiothoracic, Pelvic, Orthopaedic and General Surgical procedures.
