Ear Popper

The EarPopper is a non-surgical alternative treatment for certain cases of Otitis Media with Effusion and Eustachian Tube Dysfunction in both children and adults, as well as for Aerotitis and Barotitis. It is particularly appropriate for patients who are unable to perform the Valsalva manoeuvre and are unsuitable for or unwilling to undergo ventilation tube placement.

Based on the Politzer manoeuvre, The EarPopper delivers air through the nose which, during the act of swallowing, is diverted up the Eustachian tube, thus clearing and ventilating the middle ear. This relieves negative pressure and allows fluid to drain. In several recent studies1,2,3,4, significant benefits were achieved in both adults and children.

Two versions are available: the Professional Model (EP-3000), designed for use in the office or treatment room, and supplied with disposable nose-pieces, and the Home Model (EP-2100), supplied in a storage case and fitted with a re-usable nose-piece.

Both versions are supplied complete with batteries.
